Why be Defiant?

My name is Carly McKeever, Welcome to Defiant Media & Marketing.

Defiant has been evolving since 2016. I began my journey working in-house for a small company and was always interested in their social media presence. I believed that Digital Marketing, particularly in its infancy then, was under utilised as a tool by many businesses despite its cost and versatility. Given a green light, I began experimenting in content creation to engage the business audience and quickly grew a loyal and engaged following.

The budget for the work I did was almost non existent due to the business size however this was not apparent to our audience and our digital market reach continued to grow out performing larger similar business with dedicated marketing departments. This knowledge drove my belief in a working zero-budget marketing approach.

I knew I had found my passion so next up I would need relevant qualifications which my employer was happy to endorse. While qualifying, I continued to land accounts and currently work with 6 clients of varying sizes from differing business sectors and now, upon completion of my studies, am continuing to build my client base.
